FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What documents are needed for a real estate valuation?

Typically: the property title deed, a cadastral plan or sketch, and building documentation where it exists (building or occupancy permit, designs). For machinery and equipment: an inventory list, invoices, and technical data. We provide the exact list based on the asset type.

Is the report accepted by banks, courts, notaries, and institutions?

Yes. Reports are prepared under recognised methodology and European valuation standards, signed by a certified valuer holding the REV designation, and are used in banking, court, tax, and business procedures.

When is a valuation required for company formation or recapitalization?

Whenever founding capital or a capital increase is contributed in kind — real estate, equipment, vehicles, and similar — a certified valuer must establish the value to be registered.

Who orders a valuation in bankruptcy proceedings?

Usually the bankruptcy trustee or the court, and sometimes the creditors. The valuation establishes the value of the bankruptcy estate and supports sales within the proceedings.

Do you take cross-border engagements?

Yes. The REV designation is a European recognition awarded through TEGoVA, reports can be delivered in English, and the methodology is aligned with European Valuation Standards (EVS).
